Gear Up was a virtual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relieved by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.

Bayek worked on crafting better equipment, in preparation for his assassination of Medunamun.

Bayek decided to improve his equipment.
- Bayek: I need to hunt for leather.
Bayek collected soft leather.
Bayek crafted a breastplate.
- Bayek: This will work perfectly.
Bayek approached Hepzefa.
- Hepzefa: A solid breastplate. That will help!
