Kadir was an arms dealer and information broker for the Byzantine Rite of the Templar Order. He was also a secret agent of the Qizilbash, an anti-Ottoman rebel group, who infiltrated the ranks of the Ottoman Empire's artillery corps in the hopes of sabotaging it from within.[1]
In 2012, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the Templar company Abstergo Industries as part of their Animi Training Program, under the title of the Bombardier.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Kadir is an Arabic name meaning "competent, powerful, strong." It can alternatively be transliterated as Qadir.
- Al-Qadir is one of the 99 attributes of Allah.
- Faris al-Saffar, an Assassin from Morocco serving Sultan Muhammad XII of Granada who features in Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, wears an outfit identical to Kadir's. This is one of the several cases in Rebellion where a character's appearance is cloned from a multiplayer character while the allegiances, name, and backstory are changed.
