  • Common historical videogame settings, such as World War II, Feudal Japan and Egypt, are not likely to be featured as they are considered "boring" and unoriginal for Assassin's Creed.[2]
  • An interview with Assassin's Creed III scriptwriter Matt Turner gave a probable release date of 2013 or 2014 for Assassin's Creed IV.[3]
  • Assassin's Creed III Creative Director Alex Hutchinson has expressed interest in setting an Assassin's Creed game in colonial India.[4]
