Assassin's Creed Chronicles is a planned Assassin's Creed spin-off series of side-scrolling 2.5D video games.^[1] The first installment, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, was announced in late 2014 and will focus on Shao Jun, a Chinese Assassin, as she returns to her home country from Europe in 1526.^[2] More Chronicles games are currently planned, and are set to focus on different characters in different timeframes.^[1]
