Assassin's Creed 5: El Cakr is the fifth volume of the Assassin's Creed comic series, it will be released on 31 October 2013, after the official release of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Assassin's Creed 5: El Cakr focuses on the story of Jonathan Hawk and continues his story from Assassin's Creed 4: Hawk, as he explores the memories of his ancestor Numa Al'Khamsin, or "El Cakr", a member of the Egyptian Brotherhood of Assassins during the middle of the 14th century.
Plot
While Jonathan Hawk, the successor of Desmond Miles, unmasks the traitor who has infiltrated his cell, his ancestor El Cakr began a struggle against the Templars for the possession of the Scepter of Aset. In an Egypt troubled by the assassination of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad, the staff of the goddess represents a key issue since it provides great powers to its owner...
Meanwhile, at Abstergo Industries, Templars make strange discoveries about a young patient whose genetic characteristics represent a new threat to the Assassins.
