Assassin's Creed: Subject Four is a graphic novel that compiles both Assassin's Creed: The Fall and Assassin's Creed: The Chain, thus completing the story arc of Animus Subject 4 Daniel Cross and that of his ancestor Nikolai Orelov.

Originally an exclusive for those pre-ordering the Ubiworkshop edition of Assassin's Creed III, it was later made available as a separate purchase through the Ubiworkshop's online store.

Synopsis

Since the dawn of human civilization, the Brotherhood of Assassins has waged a secret war against the Templar Knights, both sides struggling to guide mankind's future by their own, contrasting codes. Throughout the generations, the balance of power has shifted back and forth between freedom and control as members of each order continue their ancestors' work.

Daniel Cross has vivid hallucinations of a past life; that of Nikolai Orelov, a Russian Assassin living in the early 20th century, and his son Innokenti. Subject 4 tells the story of Daniel's rise and fall through the ranks of the Assassin Brotherhood, and his subsequent rise through the ranks of the Templars.

Co-written and co-drawn by the Eisner Award winning artists Cameron Stewart (Catwoman, Batman & Robin) and Karl Kerschl (Teen Titans: Year One, Superman), Subject 4 is a must have for all fans of the Assassin's Creed universe and newcomers alike.
