:::I think replacing an official title with a speculative one to adjust to real world info is mostly unnecessary. And I do not agree that it is a misleading title, either. That ''is'' what the game identifies them at, nothing misleading about it. Most of the info included in your sandbox could be included without moving the page to a speculative name, as well. I think this should stay as is. — [[User:Zero-ELEC|Zero-ELEC]] ([[User talk:Zero-ELEC|talk]]) 18:24, 12 December 2020 (UTC) | |||
Revision as of 20:24, 12 December 2020
Name and Content
While the map icon does say "Treasure of Britain" for these, the treasures never actually make an appearance as far as I’m aware just the tablets. Should we rename the article to reflect that and adjust the intro? It would also allow us to address the fact there is 13 treasures but only 11 tablets. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 04:27, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- I did add in the intro about the tablets and the BtS addresses the 13 vs 11 treasures issue. V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 04:48, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah I’m tracking that but I think the article name and categories are still misleading. Obviously we can use the BtS to note Treasures that aren't mentioned in the game but my way let’s us address the numerical discrepancy in the main body of the article. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 07:07, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- What would the other name be? Because, if as you said, this is the name used in game, I don't see actual reason to change, not when this info can be incorporated into the article. - Soranin (talk) 02:47, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- I would rename it to Treasure of Britain tablets because that's how they actually appear in game. Eivor is not collecting the Treasures but tablets that represent some of them. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:01, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Wouldn't that be a conjectural name then? IMO it should stay as "Treasures of Britain" and then note that Eivor collected tablets inscribed with the treasures. V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 01:30, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with Vilka. - Soranin (talk) 01:34, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- I think a conjectural title is better than a misleading erroneous title. I'll draft a sandbox page for how I'd word the page for y'all to look over.
