The Yakushi Onsen was a spring located in mid-southern Kii, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke infiltrated the onsen after finding a clue from a failed ambush meant for Kyonyo. There, they caught sight of one of the bounty hunters, Inumaru, speaking to his men about his anger towards fellow hunter Kamakichi and his lack of aid. Instantly, they assassinated Inumaru and recovered a katana, Mending Bond, from his personal effects.[1]
