Mending Bond

The Mending Bond was a katana that Fujibayashi Naoe obtained in 1582. That year, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke were tasked by Kennyo with eliminating a group of bounty hunters who were after his son, Kyonyo. Following a lead to the Yakushi Onsen in Kii, the pair located Inumaru speaking to his men about his disgust over the lack of support from fellow bounty hunter Kamakichi. They then confronted Inumaru and killed him, taking the sword from his personal effects.
