The Adder's Son was the pseudonym of a member of the Order of the Ancients. The Adder's Son wrote a letter to the Order members about the Caledonian witch-warrior Niamh of Argyll and how she carried the sword, Excalibur. In the letter, The Adder's Son detailed Niamh's appearance and her recent affiliations with the Hidden Ones, whose bureau in Lunden was their next target to burn down. Fortunately, The Adder's Son's letter was obtained by Niamh[1] as the Hidden Ones found out in advance, before any real damage took place.[2]
