The Sword of the Duat was a legendary sword inspired by and dedicated to the Egypt afterlife in the 1st century BCE Egypt.
While reliving the memories of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, Layla Hassan acquired a virtual model of the sword within the Animus simulation.[1].[2]

Behind the scenes
The model of the Sword of the Duat, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, shares the same model as the Conductor of Souls and the Sunslayer in the same game. Furthermore, the model was recycled as the models of the Ancient Battle Sword and the Rusted Battle Sword, weapons in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and their kind.
