Rusted Battle Sword

The Rusted Battle Sword was a 5th century BCE sword with a long history. Despite being rusted by all the blood it had spilled, the sword was still usable by the Peloponnesian War.
During said conflict, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this sword in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Rusted Battle Sword, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, for example the Ranger's Blade. In addition, the Ancient Battle Sword also shares the model, but bears a different finish as well as icon. These are all the recycled model of Conductor of Souls/Sunslayer/Sword of the Duat, weapons in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
