Sophie Trenet was a Master Assassin, playwright, essayist and an author of pamphlets. She fought with passion for the freedom of the oppressed classes^[1] while also acting as a member of the Assassin Council of the French Brotherhood during the French Revolution.^[2]

Decades later, Trenet played an important role in events that led to the rise of the French Second Republic in 1848.^[1]
