Sofia Rikkin’s mother was the wife of Grand Master Templar and former CEO of Abstergo Industries Alan Rikkin. She gave birth to their daughter, Sofia, in 1980, but tragically passed away four years later when she was assassinated by the Brotherhood of Assassins. As a result, Alan became a widower, and Sofia grew up without a mother figure.[1]
Legacy
Her death had a significant impact on Sofia, leaving her without a mother and motivating her to find a way to address violence through the Animus Project at the Abstergo facility in Madrid, as she believed violence was the cause of her mother's death.[1]
