Sierra de Cazorla fortress in 1492

Sierra de Cazorla is a mountain range in the Province of Jaén in southern Spain.

During the Granada War, the region lay within the territory of the Emirate of Granada and was the location of an Assassin fortress which served as the primary base-of-operations for the Spanish Brotherhood in 1492.[1]

The fortress had three wings and held many rooms among them were; training rooms, a blacksmith, intel room, treasury, and a ceremony room. The fortress also had living quarters, an apothecary, library, and a supply room that backed onto the docks.[1]
