Sheshat, or Seshat, is the ancient Egyptian goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and writing. She was also the wife-daughter of Thoth, the god of magic, writing, and science.
Seshat is considered the creator of writing and is often displayed with a stylus, writing down important things, like the years of a pharaoh's reign.[1]
Her worship flourished around Heliopolis, but in Madiama Nome in Sinai, there used to be a temple dedicated to her, which the Medjay and Hidden One Bayek of Siwa visited in 38 BCE.[2]
She was depicted with Thoth on the ancient tablets some of which the Bayek found during his adventures in 1st century BCE.[3]
