Sheshat, also Seshat, is the ancient Egyptian goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and writing, as well as the wife and daughter of Thoth, the god of magic, writing, and science.
Seshat is considered the creator of writing, and is often displayed with a stylus, writing down important things, like the years of a pharaoh's reign.
Her worship flourished around Heliopolis.
