The Sect of the Ibis Reborn was a cult established by Menkhtu, a priest who previously served under the Oracle of Amun Medunamun. Formed from the renmants of the Order of the Ancients in Egypt, the cultists were devoted to their leader and sought to carry out his whim.

In 46 BCE, their rituals caught the attention of the newly established Hidden Ones, a proto-Assassin organization founded by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa and his wife Aya of Alexandria.[1]
