Salt Key Bank was a fishing village located in the Dry Tortuga region of the West Indies. The village was nestled between a hillside and the sea, and provided amenities such as a harbormaster, general store, and a tavern.
The pirates Benjamin Hornigold, Edward Kenway and Edward Thatch all visited the village at least once in 1716, while Kenway would visit again over the years to pick up bounties posted in the pigeon coop.
