The Royal Phoenix was a schooner captained by Jack Rackham up until the year 1718, when it was used by the pirates Edward Kenway, Charles Vane, and Rackham himself, to break through the Royal Navy's blockade of Nassau.

In order to accomplish this, the Royal Phoenix was turned into a makeshift fireship and launched at Royal Navy warships blocking the port. The plan was a success, though the Royal Phoenix was destroyed in the process.

Trivia

  • Although named Royal Phoenix, Rackham's vessel is called the Kingston in its database entry. Historically, the Kingston was a ship captured by Rackham after he had mutinied against Charles Vane.
