The Royal Phoenix was a schooner captained by Jack Rackham up until the year 1718, when it was used by the pirates Edward Kenway, Charles Vane, and Rackham himself, in their escape from a recently blockaded Nassau.
In order to accomplish this, the Royal Phoenix was turned into a makeshift fireship and launched at Royal Navy warships blocking the port.
