Mara was the maidservant of Taimhotep, wife of Pasherenptah, the high priest of Ptah in Memphis, during the 1st century BCE.

Mara helped her mistress with whatever she needed, including participating in a ritual with the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, led by the Seer at his house[1], and later in another at the base of the Pyramid of Djoser.[2]
