Ktesos (unknown – 48 BCE), also known as The Ram, was a member of the Order of the Ancients active in Alexandria during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
In 48 BCE, his friend Actaeon, also a member of the Order, was assassinated by Aya in revenge for her son's death. In retaliation, Ktesos tracked her down to her home. There, he met a brutal end at the hands of his quarry, who was forced into hiding to avoid reprisals from the Phylakes.[1] When Aya's husband, the Medjay Bayek, visited her abandoned home a short time later, he found giant splatters of blood leading from one of the courtyard doorways to Ktesos' corpse inside.[2]
