Kallipos was the captain of the Caravanserai in Dionysias, Faiyum, until 47 BCE, when the Medjay Bayek of Siwa killed him. According to a message he had written, Kallipos seemed to be having problems with his men bringing Egyptian prostitutes into the compound. He also wanted to execute Son of Ra, a local bandit leader his men had captured, but his superiors forbid this.
Trivia
- His name is derived from Greek καλλος (kallos) meaning 'beautiful, good' and πως (pōs) meaning 'in a certain way'.
