Jacquotte Jolicoeur (born 1710) was a French adventurer and tinkerer, and the daughter of Ivo Jolicoeur.

Biography

Born to wanderer adventurer Ivo Jolicoeur, Jacquotte was raised by her wealthy grandparents. Fearing becoming like her father, Jacquotte constantly humbled herself and developed an aptitude for studying, research and tinkering. During her early adulthood, she invented a number of small mechanisms.[1]

She eventually learned of her father's whereabouts and left to tour the Caribbean in his search, and to learn more of the world around her. During her travels, she enjoyed assisting those who needed help. Jacquotte wrote numerous books detailing her travels.[1]
