Isaac du Queyran, also known as Nicodemus, was a member of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins and a friend of Catherine. In 1609, after Catherine was accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake, Isaac took in her daughter Margaux and trained her in the Creed.[1]
Behind the scenes
According to Inquisitor Pierre de Lancre's 1612 book Tableau de l'Inconstance des Mauvais Anges et Demons, Isaac de Queyran was around the age of 25 in 1609,[2][3] which is at odds with the implication in Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Witches of the Moors that he is the 16-year-old Margaux's biological father.
