Isaac du Queyran, also known as Nicodemus, was a member of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins and a friend of Catherine. In 1609, after Catherine was accused of being a witch and burned at the stake, Nicodemus took in her daughter Margaux and trained her in the Creed.[1]
Behind the scenes
According to Pierre de Lancre's Tableau, Isaac de Queyran was around the age of 25 in 1609.[2] This is at odds with the implication that he is the 16-year-old Margaux's biological father.
