Isaac du Queyran, also known as Nicodemus, was a member of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins and a friend of Catherine. In 1609, after her burning as a witch, Nicodemus took in her daughter Margaux and trained her in the Creed.[1]
Behind the scenes
According to de Lancre's Tableau, Isaac was about twenty-five years old in 1609. [citation needed] This is at odds with the implication that he is the sixteen year old Margaux's biological father.
