Georgia is a country located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, bordered to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan.
Because the country was plagued by constant war during the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Akaki Ninidze established himself as the Mentor of a fake Assassin Brotherhood based on their legacy in countries such as Russia, Syria, and Turkey, in an attempt to end the fighting through intervention. However, his "Assassins" attracted the attention of the Templars, who attacked them on many fronts. The survivors were rescued by the Assassin Gavin Banks and retreated to the Pankisi Valley, were Akaki and his brother Nodar joined the Assassins and left behind a new Georgian Assassin Brotherhood.[1][2]
