Georgia (U.S. state)
Georgia is a state in the southeastern region of the United States, bordered by South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee. It was one of the thirteen colonies that claimed independence from Great Britain during the American Revolutionary War.

In 1751, the newly-appointed Spanish Governor of Florida, Alonso Fernández de Heredia, began taking military actions against the British forces in Georgia to cover up Templar activities in the Gulf of Mexico.[1]
In 1778, the Aquila rallied the Patriot ships against the Royal Navy, winning the Battle of Frederica for Colonel Samuel Elbert.[2] A year later, the Assassins suspected Elbert had joined the Templars, but the British Army captured him before he could be killed.[3]
The Colonial Assassins aided the British forces under Archibald Campbell's command in the capture of Savannah, as they believed Major General Robert Howe was a Templar associate.[4] A year later, they killed the Loyalist militia leader John Boyd, a Templar ally, on his way to Savannah at the Battle of Kettle Creek.[5]
In 1781, the Assassins helped the Patriots win the Siege of Augusta, allowing them to gain access and interrogate Thomas Brown, leader of the Loyalist militia.[6]
The following year, despite the American and French victory in Virginia, the British still occupied Savannah. The Assassins convinced Sir Guy Carleton to order the evacuation of troops and any dissenters.[7]
