Alexander Macdougall was a Scottish clan leader and the father of Kyle Macdougall. He raised her like a boy until it came the time to marry her off, at which point she ran away. Though at the time he reacted badly, seeing it as an affront to his authority, he later understood where she was coming from.[1]
