del Salto was a Spanish lieutenant who served under Gustavo Ramírez during the Reconquista in the late 15th century. He was one of the lieutenants responsible for the hunt for the third section of the Shattered Staff of Eden, being the one in charge of consolidating the intel from searches across northern Spain.[1]

In his headquarters, in a villa near León, del Salto corresponded with Ramírez and informed him of the leads he'd acquired. One of them, involving the monastery in the mountains of Asturias led to the ransacking of it and the capture of the monks, under Ramírez's orders. [2] The Spanish assassins infiltrated the villa and stole some of the information he had collected to locate the missing section of the Staff.[2]
