Damascus Steel

Damascus Steel was a type of forged steel which originated from the Syrian city of Damascus, characterized for its unique and distinctive wavy pattern reminiscent of flowing water.

In the 15th and 16th century, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins utilized the steel to forge a number of weapons and armors for their own use against the Spanish Templars.[1]
