Confiscation Warehouse

The Confiscation Warehouse was a warehouse in the Karkh district of Baghdad, north of Tabik Gate. It was used by the Abbasid military to store confiscated goods from merchants imported from the docks in Sharqiyah.

In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq travelled to the warehouse to help his friend Kong to recover his stolen tea shipment. Basim navigated through the warehouse and found notes which pointed the Order of the Ancients' involvement that resulted in the confiscation of goods.[1]
