Biography[edit | edit source]
Curse of the Pharaohs[edit | edit source]
Around 34 BCE, Sutekh's parents were tragically killed by Irsu, who sought to prevent them from reporting his theft of one of Nefertiti's sacred objects to the local authorities.[1]
While he sought to lift the curse by himself, he became embroiled in the travels of the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa.[1] After requesting him to end the calamity that was plaguing Thebes, Sutekh tried to distance himself from trouble but was soon captured by Isidora, who need him for a ceremony to restore Ma'at. Upon assassinating her and lifting the curse in the tomb of Tutankhamun, Bayek entrusted Sutekh with the relic that had been the curse's source. Bayek ordered Sutekh to hide the relic where no man would ever find it.[2]
