MysoreTech is an Indian technology company based in Bangalore and founded by Ajay Rana.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Secretly controlled by the multinational conglomerate Abstergo Industries, MysoreTech was tasked in 2013 with the distribution of Abstergo's Animus consoles, under the name Brahman V.R., across India. It was Abstergo's aim for Brahman users to unwittingly upload their genetic data to the Abstergo Cloud, in the hopes of retrieving the memories of, among others, Arbaaz Mir and Pyara Kaur.[2]

Jot Soora, an employee of MysoreTech, brought a Brahman V.R. home and showed it to his fiancée Monima Das. Upon her use of the device, she discovered that she was a descendant of both Arbaaz and Pyara and later informed Jot. Hoping to avoid the shame of his meager birth, Jot told his co-worker Siobhan Dhami—an Assassin spy in the company—that he was in fact Arbaaz and Pyara's descendant, only for her to later kidnap him and steal a Brahman V.R. device to locate the Koh-i-Noor before the Templars did.[2]

During the resulting conflict between the Assassins and Templars, Jot managed to escape, but Monima died after the van used by the Templars to kidnap her and Jot crashed into the Mithi River.[2] By 2014, MysoreTech was working on finishing production of Monima's last film, Dvija A.I., as a way to honor her, and Ajay Rana came to an arrangement with Abstergo Entertainment's CCO, Melanie Lemay, to create a digital version of Monima for the film using Animus technology.[3] Later, the two companies partnered again, this time for the development of virtual concerts and historical tours, as well as sporting events.[4]
