Berenice II of Egypt (c. 267 or 266 BCE – 221 BCE) was a Greek noblewoman who reigned as Queen of Cyrene during the 3rd century BCE. The daughter of Magas of Cyrene, she later reigned as queen of Egypt through her marriage to Ptolemy III Euergetes. A statuette of her was excavated from the site of the Acropolis of Cyrene.[1]
