YourBloodIsNotYourOwn.com was a promotional website tie-in to the 2016 film Assassin's Creed detailing information on the human genome and the Animus 4.3, in addition to hosting behind-the-scenes videos from the film's production.

Hoods Through Time contained infographics on historical individuals who were allegedly Assassins or allies. There are however some discrepancies, as Jeanne d'Arc and George Washington had no ties to their local Brotherhoods beyond being unaware allies, while Roosevelt and Johannes Vermeer have never appeared nor are mentioned in any media.

The Abstergo Foundation's Madrid research center was built on and encloses a 12th century chapel of unknown function. Just beyond the ancient stone walls sit comfortable living areas for the facility's guests.

Bleeding-edge genome mapping, DNA chain parsing, and VR memory recording systems are housed beneath the worn, stone floor.

Once the subject is connected to the Animus' armature, their genetic information is delivered to the DNA chain reader via an epidural administered at the base of the skull.

The subject's digitized DNA chains are compared and matched to archaeological samples from their target historical figure, and with these two chains, the Animus projects events from history.

Behind the scenes

Jeanne d'Arc's picture is a stylized version of the English painter John Everett Millais' 1865 painting Joan of Arc. Likewise, Roosevelt and Washington are stylized versions of the 1903 John Singer Sargent official White House portrait and the Lansdowne portrait respectively. In the Assassin's Creed series, these characters have only been an ally to the Assassins (or otherwise undepicted in the case of Roosevelt), not an initiated member, and so would have no reason to wear their insignia so prominently on their garb.
