Kenthap was an Egyptian girl who lived in Faiyum during the 1st century BCE.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Kenthap and her mother ran a shop in the black market behind Euhemeria, selling counterfeit treasures which they claimed to be taken from the Temple of Amun in Siwa. News of the shop selling Siwan treasures spread out throughout the market and eventually reached the Medjay Bayek, a native of Siwa himself.[1]
Bayek approached the stall to investigate, speaking to Kenthap who insisted that the treasures were real despite him knowing that they were fakes. After some banter, Kenthap requested Bayek to follow her back to her camp, where she had more valuable artifacts to show him.[1]
Upon reaching the campsite, they called sight of her mother being harrassed by a group of bandits who sought her riches. Bayek was able to rescued Kenthap's mother, and received a Imitation Siwan Khopesh as a thank you.[1]
