The ctOS (Central Operating System) is a computer software package developed by Blume Corporation that can successfully maintain full control of a city's entire information, security, and logistical networks and run them efficiently; the ctOS also maintains the criminal records and any personal data of every citizen in the city in which it is operating.[1]
In late 2013, Blume Corporation sent a corporate sales pamphlet to Abstergo Entertainment's CCO Olivier Garneau advertising ctOS and offering the possibility of having a localized system installed at Abstergo Entertainment's Montreal facility.[2] However, Olivier had yet to respond by the time the employee pejoratively known as "Noob" was hired, and after delivering some stolen data to the undercover Assassin Rebecca Crane on the first floor, the employee heard one of their co-workers talk about potentially moving to go work for Blume in America. [citation needed]
