"Neumann" was an individual allegedly involved in the death of the Abstergo Industries employee Leila Marino in 2007.

In September 2012, Lucy Stillman, a close friend of Marino, attempted to investigate the circumstances of her death by accessing sealed coroner reports. In response, Dr. Warren Vidic claimed that Marino had committed suicide due to a relationship with a "kid" named Neumann. Vidic dismissed the matter by warning Stillman "not to dip [her] pen in company ink" and ordered her to return to her work on the Animus.[1]
