Wenlocan Abbey

The Wenlocan Abbey was an abbey in Shropshire, England, located west of Dudmastun Lake.

In the 870s, the abbey was raided by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir and the Raven Clan, who looted the area of its cargo and raw materials for their settlement of Ravensthorpe.[1]
