Rebellion-Odyssey tie-in memories[edit source]

Hey, thanks for getting the jumpstart on creating these pages. One thing of note though, until we know how Abstergo got the genetic source to create these I don't think we can definitively say whether they are from Kass or Alexios as the info both in game and from the Community Manager is inconclusive. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 06:52, December 31, 2018 (UTC)

OK, I'll change it. I was wonder why these pages still not exist in this wiki after Spears for Hire event , so I did it myself.--UJ112013 (talk) 07:37, December 31, 2018 (UTC)
No worries. Most of the editors are either focused on Odyssey content or don't have Rebellion so it's good to have editors like you to pick up that slack. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:03, December 31, 2018 (UTC)
Sorry for jumping in, but thanks for reminding me about Spears for Hire. I took screengtrabs and wrote memory drafts but put them on backburner while I focused on other stuff and nearly forgot. Writing now! And again, well done getting these memories. -- Darman (talk) 02:05, January 1, 2019 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed: Identity[edit source]

Do you have a source for your recent edits citing Assassin's Creed: Identity as being non-canon? --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 14:58, March 27, 2019 (UTC)

You can see the Discuss here: https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/d/p/3116142931476487327
In this game, the Battle of Forlì(1488) set after the Siege of Monteriggioni(1500) which is an inconsistency. You can also read the Trivia in the memories of Forlì - A Crimson Sunset.--UJ112013 (talk) 15:19, March 27, 2019 (UTC)
I'm afraid that an inconsistency in dating does not mean that the game is non-canon and, whilst the fact that the dates do not match up should certainly be addressed in the appropriate articles, the content still needs to be included. At the very most, it is "ambiguously canon" in which case {{AmbCanon}} and {{AmbCanon End}} should be used where necessary.
It is not the wiki's responsibility to decide what is or isn't canon (despite our best efforts to reconcile any ambiguities as they arise), only to provide information. It is the responsibility of Ubisoft to fix any inconsistencies. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:07, March 27, 2019 (UTC)
Jasca is actually correct, UJ112013, and my apologies for the inaccurate answer.
To be exact, the second chapter is non-canonical because it contradicts the timeline and events of AC2 and Brotherhood to the point of being impossible, with the Battle of Forlì of 1488 and Ezio Auditore's first meeting with Caterina Sforza occurring after Cesare Borgia has been drive from Rome in 1507.
However, the first chapter contains no such conflicts with the main installments technically. In fact, if not for the second chapter, the first chapter would have been by default canon. However, because the second chapter is so non-canonical, and its story builds off that of the first chapter, we are of the opinion that this renders the first chapter ambiguously canon (whereas the second chapter is non-canon).
But as Jasca said, we have no authority to decide what is canon or not if it is material that has been licensed by Ubisoft. Only in such a case where the events are mutually exclusive with media of the highest tier of canonicity, in this case AC2 & Brotherhood, can we make such a deduction.
Because of the confusing technicalities of Identity's canon status, I was afraid of confusing you and wanted to give you a simple answer, believing that if you were just asking out of your interest, not to help out with the wiki, just telling you the game is non-canon would suffice, so once again, pardon me for the confusion. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 16:29, March 27, 2019 (UTC)
Well then, should I remove the non-cannon template in the pages that I added and using {{AmbCanon}} template? --UJ112013 (talk) 11:37, March 28, 2019 (UTC)

RE:Formatting[edit source]

That is just a draft policy written by the very same individual who just formatted the reference incorrectly. It is not official and is still under discussion. Suffice to say that no edits should be made in accordance with it. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 01:26, August 15, 2019 (UTC)

Ok, I understood. --UJ112013 (talk) 04:32, August 15, 2019 (UTC)

Sourcing[edit source]

What seems to be the issue with it? It's from the game, albeit the Discovery Tour. But The way I've been added discovery tour info doesn't interfere with IU-lore. Since my edits haven't been reverted I just assumed everything was all good and I've been continuing to source as such. Also the Sourcing Policy doesn't say anything about the Discovery Tour.B O O F H E A D 1 8 5 (talk) 14:19, September 11, 2019 (UTC)

I am sorry that I did not make it clear. I used to mean the slash is not allowed in the reference. Example: the "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey – Discovery Tour / Mycenae: Habitations" should be "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey – Discovery Tour - Mycenae: Habitations" --UJ112013 (talk) 14:38, September 11, 2019 (UTC)

Untitled[edit source]

Hi! I am so sorry for disturbing you but can you please add "The Ascendance Event" in this page?

https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/History_of_the_Assassins

Because it is missing. --ARMAN EGOYAN (talk) 16:47, January 18, 2020 (UTC)

I haven't read those books before, so I don't know how to add it, either. Sorry. --UJ112013 (talk) 09:06, January 18, 2020 (UTC)

A favor[edit source]

Hey I was wondering if you could help me on a project. As you are probably the most well versed in AC Identity I was wondering if you could add the different enemy archetypes from that game to https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/User:Lacrossedeamon/Animus_Archetype. I assume most of it would be similar to AC II or Brotherhood but not sure if some of the terminology was changed. I would greatly appreciate it. 06:43, April 24, 2020 (UTC)

OK, I can help. And yes, the terminology was a little different in this game, only Commander as Officer, Crossbowman as Marksman, Wolfman as Wolf and Papal Guard as Champion. --UJ112013 (talk) 07:49, April 24, 2020 (UTC)
Awesome thanks for your help. Feel free to add more from other games if you know them or add your thoughts to the talk page if you have any ideas on formatting or content. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:04, April 24, 2020 (UTC)

Elite Contracts[edit source]

Hey UJ112013, I've made recent changes to ACID's contract memories as you've seen. I'm not very far into the game myself, so I have this question: Are there any other Elite Contracts for the remaining missions types (Pillage, Courier, Escort, Recovery, Tail, Kill, Track Down, and Stalk)? Thanks for help! V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 13:28, July 1, 2020 (UTC)

Sorry for the slow reply. I took a moment to confirm those Elite contracts were exist, or not. And the answer is YES. I complete the Elite Recovery contract today. --UJ112013 (talk) 02:16, July 8, 2020 (UTC)
Cheers, I went and added Elite Contract to the ACIDMemories template. V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 02:30, July 8, 2020 (UTC)

AC Identity arm guards[edit source]

Hello UJ112013,
Great job with the Identity DLC packs and armor pieces! I think you mixed up the stats for the Heroic Armguards of the Slayer, though, because it's a direct copy of the Novice table. Or is the difference between them only visual? Just thought you should know in case you missed it. – Darman (talk) 01:55, September 28, 2020 (UTC)

I really missed it. Thanks. --UJ112013 (talk) 10:40, September 28, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Cut Content for ACID[edit source]

Hello, apologies for missing your message months back. I am not sure which cut Database entries you're referring to, but in general, yes, you are allowed to create articles for cut content. If it turns out we don't thing they're suitable for any reason, we can delete them later. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 19:23, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Animus Advice[edit source]

I am trying to make a page for the different loading screen tips and blurbs. I was wondering if you would have access to the ones from Identity. I remember an interesting one about Sofia Sartor destroying/getting rid of Ezio's assassin gear after his death so the kids wouldn't follow in his footsteps. I do think the list changed with the major overhaul. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:34, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello, User:Lacrossedeamon. Yes, I played the game since 2016 before the server shutdown, and I never saw that line. But luckily, I had the game text file. Here's the lines:
    • "Ezio died in Firenze at the age of 65. Before his death, Ezio told his wife, Sofia, that on the 22nd birthday of their son, she should gift him a key to a chest that was kept hidden in the catacombs under the Villa Auditore."
    • Ezio's wife, Sofia, was never told what lies inside that chest, but she had her suspicions. Fearing that her son would become an Assassin, she threw the key into the river, denying him a dangerous future.
There are a lot of differences between the past. Like this:
    • "Some say that many of the Crows were in fact rogue Assassins who lost their fate in the Creed and believed that the war between the two factions was nothing more than a useless slaughter for power."
    • "Though being part of the Crows, the Rogue Assassins never reveal any of the Creed secrets, keeping their past identities to themselves."
--UJ112013 (talk) 13:32, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Do you have all of them and do you know which appeared for which update? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:05, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
Yes, the text file included everything. The oldest one is on top, and the rest are one after another. --UJ112013 (talk) 13:46, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
Would it be possible to share that text file and do you have any others? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 13:13, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
Sure, I'll send you on Discord over the weekend. --UJ112013 (talk) 14:05, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
Cool thanks. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 14:41, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
I sent it to you on Discord. Let me know if you retrieved it. --UJ112013 (talk) 22:51, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
Currently at work with no Discord access, I'll let you know when I get home. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 01:39, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
Ok. --UJ112013 (talk) 07:25, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
