Names for the Priest's unique moves.[edit source]
Hey Slate, recently I fixed the Priest's unique moves, and I was hoping you could give them some names so they are up to Wikia standards. Thanks in advance Patzilla777 12:56, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
Assassin's creed 2 Achievement guide[edit source]
Hey, Slate, I really appreciate all the help on the page but this is my assignment so can you please talk to me first before putting anything? The Reaper 02:52, May 10, 2011 (UTC)
Far East[edit source]
Lucy never said that Subject 16 has an ancestor in the Far East. She said MIDDLE East. From AC2:
- "I've been going through his files. Vidic flagged a couple of his Animus sessions. A bunch of different ancestors, different dates and locations... ancient Africa, the Middle East... but towards the end, he became obsessed with Italy."
-- Master Sima Yi 12:01, May 15, 2011 (UTC)
Well, I didn't say that Lucy was the one that specifically said it, only that I remember that it was mentioned somewhere. It could also back up the Yona Guni cryptic message. Slate Orchid 14:05, May 15, 2011 (UTC)
Capitalizing[edit source]
Stop capitalizing article titles. We purposely did that because there is no point in capitalizing those words. -- Master Sima Yi 15:39, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

Warning[edit source]
- "Don't be an idiot."
- ―Familiar?[src]
--WarClown Dial-UpinFamous 06:53, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
Was a third warning, I'm changing it to a first, that was a far too extreme warning for what you did. -- 'R BlaiddDdraigWolfDragon’s Lair 07:00, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
To be completely honest, I saw a random IP address, with the text "That's what she said." and an unnecessary edit seeing as the Brotherhood multiplayer characters don't have links in the descriptions of their kill animations. You can't blame me for jumping to conclusions. When I said "Don't be an idiot." I thought I was talking to someone that was randomly vandalising a page, and my comment was not to be taken too seriously.
If I've caused any offense then I apologize. Slate Orchid 07:08, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
- Anon or not, you don't call anyone here idiots just like that. Be more sensible next time. --WarClown Dial-UpinFamous 07:13, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

"Why will you not die?"[edit source]
I don't mean to be offensive, but did you even read what I wrote when I re-added that sentence in the The Wounded Eagle-dialogue? It is in the Pax Demo. Look it up. That's where most of the information about the mission comes from. The Gamescon-Dialogue is cut, because the player assassinates Leandros before he finishes talking. So please stop removing that sentence, thanks. StPerkele 14:40, September 1, 2011 (UTC)
"Please stop removing that sentence." I only removed the sentence once. You're implying that I continually remove it, even though I haven't touched the page since my last edit, because I did read what you added in the edit summary. Slate Vesper 10:16, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
Calm down there, you removed it two times: The first one was " 10:56, September 1, 2011 86.30.157.100 (Talk) (7,199 bytes) (Improved detail within page. (Slate Vesper))". I added the sentence again with this edit: "12:28, September 1, 2011 StPerkele (Talk | contribs) (7,086 bytes) (That sentence appears in the PAX Demo. In the Gamescom Demo, the dialogue is interrupted because Ezio kills Leandros before he finishes talking.)", whereupon you removed it again with the edit "12:42, September 1, 2011 Slate Vesper (Talk | contribs) m (7,060 bytes) (The translations aren't supposed to be italicized, an example being on 'The Burdens We Carry' page.)". Since you removed it again after I explained it, I felt the urge to tell you., just in case that you would remove it again. Don't be offended, I'm not accusing you, my only intention was to have the complete dialogue on the page and in order to ensure that I had to tell you. StPerkele 12:11, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
Well, sorry about that. When I changed it for the second time, I didn't intend to remove the PAX demo quote, I only wanted to change the way the translations in the page were displayed.
On another note though, when you say "Did you even read..." it comes across as slightly accusatory. That's why I responded with an annoyed tone, because even though you intended what you wrote to not be offensive, it kind of sounded like you were angry at me. Slate Vesper 15:24, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I see what you mean. The "Did you even read"-thingy wasn't intended to sound offensive (I know it kind of sounded that way, that's why I said 'I don't mean to be offensive') and was actually meant to be a serious question. Anyway, problem solved, thanks ;) StPerkele 16:11, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the warning. I actually missed seeing the Minor edit box, hard as that probably is to believe. Well, more like I saw it but it didn't register to use it.
I don't care that much about badges. I honestly just come on looking for spelling errors that aren't due to language differences and grammar problems to fix because I want to be an editor someday and this kinda thing is good practice. Small spelling error[edit source]
Hey Slate, I was going over your profile, getting to know you better, and noticed you spelt your own Ubi name wrong, it's Serrachio. Just letting you know. Master Decoder 06:58, January 30, 2012 (UTC)
There's actually a real reason for that. When I was making the Ubisoft account, I made a slight error in remembering how it was spelled, so the end result was Serrachio when it should have been Saracchio. Considering they're very similar though, I figured to leave them as they were. Slate Vesper 07:07, January 30, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, ok. That explains why your sig says Saracchio. Fair enough. Master Decoder 07:09, January 30, 2012 (UTC)
Piri Reis[edit source]
why did you take out my editing in the 'piri reis' section. the information is correct and should stay there.
Despite it being correct, it is out of universe information, meaning that it has not been mentioned in the Assassin's Creed universe.
You should either back up the information you have with a source, or else it will removed. Also, you should sign your posts when you leave a message on a talk page by using 4 ~ marks, or press the signature button at the top of the text editor. Slate Vesper 12:40, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Spacing edits[edit source]
thanks for the advice...it's just that i started learning and editing in source mode so the habit stayed..anyway I'll try using visual mode more :D-- Odranoelluta 14:19, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
This line was the one that jumped at me..The reason why I'm making this clear to you is because from the source mode, it stretches the article out and makes it look messy....so i thought you were advising me to use visual mode..but the last line made it clear--Odranoelluta 14:35, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
I'm really confused regarding the spacing edits..I didn't even know I did that spacing thing there!--Odranoelluta 00:51, March 3, 2012 (UTC)
I always use the source mode(thanks, but i know where it is :D) and I also know that you don't need to put a space after that heading..but I didn't do it and it seems to come there as you have pointed out at times...well, I'll check really carefully next time, thanks by the way--Odranoelluta 01:00, March 3, 2012 (UTC)
Akce Symbol[edit source]
About the Akce symbol À..i used it on the Book Shops page for the pricing, if its any help..it got it from the Code page 857(code page to write Turkish)--Odranoelluta 15:04, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I'll see if I can get Vatsa to add it in as a symbol you can click without having to use Alt codes. Slate Vesper 15:23, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
- As it turns out, that's actually a letter with a French accent, not the Akce symbol. If you see it in ACR, you can tell why they differ slightly in the way they look. Slate Vesper 15:25, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah I surmised as much later..but it was the closest I could find that matched the Akce symbol so I used it..I think the in-game symbol was something Ubisoft developed themselves--Odranoelluta 05:36, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
- That's true, though seeing as we have the Florins one, it could be possible to find the Akce symbol somewhere too, even if Ubisoft could give it to us. Slate Vesper 18:06, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hi[edit source]
While I'm new to the wiki, so I may not understand what is considered a "quality" page, wouldn't it seem more reasonable to include the "Full Synch" requirement at the top of the page rather than the bottom? It provides quick access to the requirements, though I do understand your reasoning, as you don't have to achieve full synch. Damac1214 22:06, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, understood :). Damac1214 22:16, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
Synch Nexus[edit source]
Jupiter says--"A strange place, this nexus of time"...so that's the "source"..--Odranoelluta 02:35, March 12, 2012 (UTC)
I don't think it would be that confusing..it's already mentioned in the text - Completing the memories of Ezio, Desmond achieved a synch nexus and was pulled into the "nexus of time", so I don't see a problem there--Odranoelluta 02:47, March 12, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry I just published it :S...but hey this synch-nexus was my first project that i edited seriously(a little :D)..but do whatever is necessary--Odranoelluta 02:54, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

Fanon Edits[edit source]
I've noticed that you've renamed a few Fanons, and while what you did was correct, I'm assuming it was done without the author's permission. As you should know, what with Teller already warning you on this, is that you cannot edit other people's work under any circumstances without their approval. You're starting to come off as quite the control freak, so I suggest backing off a bit, otherwise an official warning will be given. And when you do have the author's permission - as I know you sometimes have - mention it in the edit summary. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 00:50, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
- Are you kidding me with this, Blaidd? He's volunteering to do what the Fanon staff are supposed to do and he gets a warning? Besides, I don't see the authors complaining about Slate's work. He isn't changing their fanon but formatting them. I don't think helping out is a problem.. --Vatsa (talk • Gentek) 01:19, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
- I have to agree with Vatsa on this. On the Star Wars Fanon Wiki users are allowed to make grammatical and formatting changes to anothers work, without express permission, so long as the changes are only small. I would recommend a similar approach be taken here, especially if the individuals responsible for doing so are not doing their job (as Vatsa suggests). --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 02:20, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, he's doing the right thing, but he's breaking a very basic rule of Fanons, which is to not edit another author's work without their permission. And what makes it worse is that this is the second time he's had to be told. Whether or not his changes are correct or improve the articles quality is irrelevant, it is not hard to ask the author for permission, or if it is something like just correcting formatting, to alert them of the changes. As for current Fanon Staff not doing their job, well I completely agree with both of you. So far Slate has shown more interest in the section than most of them, and I would recommend him for a position in it. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 06:47, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

Now, onto the Main point, I recall reading somewhere you had been interested in Fanon Staff but were abit disappointed that it was subjected, well, we've dropped that rule and have decided that you are permitted to nominate yourself. Just create a Forum page and name it as [Forum:Nomination - Fanon Staff - Slate Vesper] and just add the reason why you believe you should be put into Fanon Staff. Past Tense[edit source]
The style on the Wiki is that even trivia is considered part of the record, albeit a minor one. Since it is a record or a history of the AC games, we try to keep everything past tense, including opening descriptions of game titles, memories, modern figures, and trivia. Thanks for asking! ((Also, I noticed you made some minor edits on Bleeding Effect (memory) not related to tense. Since they were so minor (and I'm terribly lazy today) I just undid the edit, so if you want to go back and do those (please leaving the past tense ;) ) consider it a free addition to your edit count :) There will be blood -- just make sure it's the right person's. 23:57, May 17, 2012 (UTC)

Sources[edit source]
Can you please remove the "Multiplayer" thing you added to the sources of all multiplayer characters? It's not necessary and inconsistent, since we don't put "Singleplayer" or anything like that on other pages either. Revelations is the source, the mode is irrelevant. -- Master Sima Yi 21:31, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Well Sima, I figured that since some of the real names of the multiplayer characters are only mentioned in the Multiplayer section, putting that in the sources would direct people to the exact point where it is stated, similar to the Mediterranean Defense portion of ACR. Slate Vesper 21:35, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
- It is pretty self-explanatory that info on a multiplayer character doesn't come from singleplayer. Mediterranean Defense is only added because too many people don't pay any attention to it and don't know that characters like Pedro Navarro appear in it. And don't reply on my talkpage, there is no point in switching back and forth between talk pages and that also makes it harder to look the convo up later on... -- Master Sima Yi 22:28, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Okay then, I'll cut that out from the sources. One thing I do want to ask is whether or not Abstergo are Templar or Templar-owned. I remember mentioning it to Blaidd and he replied that it was rather pointless to add, so I went and cut them all out. However, I noticed that you added it back in on Fabiola Cavazza, so I don't know whether I would have to go back and undo all of that, or whether that part on her page can just be taken off. Slate Vesper 22:36, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Abstergo Industries isn't an entire Templar organization; it was founded and is controlled by the Templars, but very few employees are actual Templars. Most employees are just ordinary people, and there are also some Assassin sleeper agents working as employees (like Lucy). -- Master Sima Yi 21:24, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

I spent a lot of time writing out and finding all that information about the Revelation Multiplayer and putting it on here as I saw there was no information on here about any of the new abilities, and all the information on here was for Brotherhood anyways. I would appreciate it if you wouldn't just undo all my hard work cause it "takes up space." If you feel the list is too long, would you suggest I make a different page for them then? Also, I don't see a problem in how long the page is as there is a table of contents at the top of the page for that reason.
Can we come to a compromise here? I want to contribute to the wiki is all.Alpha1ance 07:05, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not saying that you shouldn't add the information, but there doesn't need to be an entire section for Revelations, when the page itself covers them all generally. If there is any changes to an ability in Revelations from Brotherhood, add it under that ability's section, and when you add a new ability that is new to the multiplayer, add something like "Introduced in Revelations..."
- I wouldn't guarantee that the page won't get redone to incorporate the story explanation of the multiplayer, but you could do that for now. Slate Vesper 07:14, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
- The multiplayer page does have seperate pages for Brotherhood and Revelation's characters, and seperate pages for their maps too, so why not abilities? Three additional powers were added to the roster and the repeart abilities' mechanics are different in each games. I'm not sure why I'm asking you, but would you support me on that page?
- Besides, you have to admit the Abilities page is getting pretty long. Alpha1ance 19:28, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Because, whenever a new Assassin's Creed game with multiplayer has come out, it has included a new roster of maps and characters.
- When it comes to abilities though, they re-use their old ones. As such, there is no need to make new sections for them, since they're already there and could have the information added on to what's been stated already. New abilities can also be added and just introduced by the game that they're featured in. Slate Vesper 21:29, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
Capitalization in titles[edit source]
Capitalization in titles is more or less irrelevant -- Wikia is case-insensitive when it comes to pagenames. Moving pages loads the move log, and it raises more flags than its worth. Please check in on the IRC before moving pages this much in the future. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 05:58, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I don't usually go on the IRC because my laptop gets finicky about at times and kills the connection. However, even though it's irrelevant, I wouldn't think the "Bombs" part needs to be capitalized on the articles, and I know that pages have had parts of their titles de-capitalized to look neater.
- I'll try and join the IRC now, but I'm not sure my computer will co-operate. Slate Vesper 06:02, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
Changing era parameter[edit source]
Well, Slate you can change the parameter from ACCH to ACAC yourself, you know. Just change it from "acch" to "acac" here => Template:Eraicon. Or instead of changing it, you can add it..just add another pipe and add "acac".--OdranoellutaTalk✲<choose><option>http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel-cinematic-universe/images/1/18/Sig.png</option></choose> 11:34, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

Fanon and Clan[edit source]
Hey Slate, what's up? Hey, 2 non-wiki-related questions:
1. Would you mind taking a look at my Fanon? ACFanon:Training|Here, I think you might like it.
2. Would it be asking a bit too much if you could put in a good word for me with the Turrets? Or would you need to play a few games with me and see how I do? Master Decoder 14:41, June 4, 2012 (UTC)
- I've taken a look at it and one thing I must tell you is that it does have a lot of big chunks in it that can be sorted out with a few paragraphs. Also, when you use Disguise in the multiplayer, you can't change into any other players in the session, unless they quit out. I noticed when I read about 2 thirds of it that you transform into the Dama Rossa once, even though she appears in the Animus session earlier, and that you transform into the Barber when you go after the Barber.
- I just picked these randomly, but I'd suggest using the Courtesan and the Engineer for some alternatives, if you haven't mentioned them before.
- Also, if you'd like to join the Happy Turrets, you can send a message to Rainie, our clan leader, by going here and making an account: http://www.happyturrets.net/forum/
- I'm pretty sure she'll accept you even without my reccomendation if you're eager enough. Slate Vesper 15:04, June 4, 2012 (UTC)
- True, true. I hadn't entirely thought about the NPCs, despite Disguise being random, I had kinda forgotten, I'll remember it in the future. As for the Turrets, honestly I've already signed up, she just has to approve it and I'm good. Also, thanks for the new section, I hit leave message, but I guess I forgot the Heading. Multiplayer[edit source]
I noticed that you take an intrest in the multiplayer section of the wiki, and would like to invite you to take part in another AC wiki dediated to creating the most complete database of AC multiplayer. If you would like some more info, leave a message on my talk page. Ezio Auditore 23:59, June 5, 2012 (UTC)
- No, I don't see the point in having a wiki solely for the multiplayer of Assassin's Creed, when it can be placed here. Weren't you warned to remove your wiki anyway? Slate Vesper 00:01, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

What do you mean by add Acfanon to the post? I just want to make sure i dont do it again.
Wytod3000500 02:27, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
When you're making a fanon, you add ACFanon: to the front of it. This is to distinguish it from mainspace articles, which are reserved for canonical details. Slate Vesper 03:23, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
Blog Posts Fanon[edit source]
This is nothing really but I wanted to inform you that the following fanons incorrectly have the Category:Blog posts in them: ACFanon:D.Manuel_I_de_Portugal & ACFanon:Nevermore. Judging from their conditions, neither of the authors are likley to continue the fanon, let alone finish it. But still..I could have removed the category myself but I didn't want to touch the article space--OdranoellutaTalk✲<choose><option>http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel-cinematic-universe/images/1/18/Sig.png</option></choose> 02:33, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

Facts[edit source]
I saw you removed the Trivia section of ACIII: Liberation page. Please tell me why it was removed. The facts were confirmed and were no rumors. Reply ASAP.
Thanks.
--Jetfire343 15:23, July 7, 2012 (UTC)
Because it was already mentioned in the article. There's little point repeating it in a trivia section. The only piece that could be considered proper trivia is that Aveline is the first female protagonist in the Assassin's Creed franchise, but a trivia section with only one point is a little unnecessary. The "Cleaver"[edit source]
Ugh. I have been trying to reach you ever since you made the "Cleaver" page. You are referring to the weapon used early in the trailer right? I have not seen the trailer elsewhere on youtube and was wondering if I should make a Forum. Afterall, it does include new gameplay. 115.186.159.244 14:28, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Yes, you can see the Cleaver at around 31-32 seconds into the extended trailer. It is brief, but if you look closely and/or pause the video, you can see that the weapon is unlike ones displayed before.
If you'd like to create a forum page to discuss it, by all means do so. Slate Vesper 14:33, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
[Forum:Assassins Creed 3: Liberation Extended Trailer|It is done.] After reading you might want to update the source for obvious reasons, or shall I? I hope you don't mind that I gave you a shout-out. Is it not interesting that because of how large the wiki is we can get the info before anyone else?
Yeah, I was just going to do that. That's not to say we're actually given the information, we have to locate it ourselves. Don't forget to sign your posts as well. :P Slate Vesper 14:55, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
UNF. Why is it so hard to remember the little button entitled "signature" needs pressing? Also I think I, the anon who does nothing but laze around all day looking for ANYTHING knew would know that we have to locate it. 115.186.159.105 15:00, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

Atasáta the Kryn[edit source]
Slate, I didn't get anything about Atasáta the Kryn from Esco's video. Is he a multiplayer character or someone who's memories are used only?--OdranoellutaTalk✲<choose><option>http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel-cinematic-universe/images/1/18/Sig.png</option></choose> 13:40, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
Considering that the multiplayer characters go by titles, and that Atasáta would most likely be a "real" name, I believe his memories will be collected for the Animi Training Program. Slate Vesper (talk) 13:43, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

That's okay, you can ask me for any help when it comes to your Fanons, since I am one of the three Fanon Staff members who mainly watch over the section of the Wiki. In case you can't reach me, you could also ask TheSt0ryTeller and GuardDog for assistance.
Also, I'd just like to let you know that we don't have a FanonItems category as of yet, but if there is more demand for one, we could add it in and then place it on your Gauntlets of Eden. :) Slate Vesper (talk) 19:20, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
MP characters[edit source]
Helloooooo. I've been wondering. Is the Pioneer the woman in pink or the guy with ragged clothes. I was also watching some vidoes of the Multiplayer and there are other characters like the Lookout, Mole and Spy. It's also common that they all use bayonets, which kind of act like spears, lol. Please reply, thanks. TemplarAgent (talk) 22:58, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
Given what I've seen from the video description, and going from what the Footpad was like, I'd expect the Robber to be the young looking guy with the blonde hair, and the Pioneer to be the woman with the rifle.
Considering that there's been no info depicting the Mole, Decoy, Lookout and Spy as little more that non-player characters (NPCs) for the Wolfpack mode, I don't think they'd need their own pages. It would be best, I feel, to put any information there, unless we get some evidence that we can play as them. Slate Vesper (talk) 23:23, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
Well If found someone playing as a person in blue, but I don't remember which is which, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIYKL59NcK8 @ 1:24 TemplarAgent (talk) 23:37, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I'm not quite sure about the Spy now, since it looked like there was a kill with a rifle with a guy in blue (as you've said) that looked similar. For the time being though, let's wait for more information. Slate Vesper (talk) 23:45, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
'nor' vs 'or'[edit source]
Um pardon? But 'neither' is accompanied by 'nor' as to signify that both opts mentioned are not as the context. 'Or' is for 'either' to say that both is as the context mentioned. Sanguinoraptor the Blood Thief. Roar at. 12:50, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
Unneeded[edit source]
That isn't needed? Then why is it there in a similar manner in pages like, this? IlMualim Wanna Chat? 19:48, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
If I may say, I am totally on your side, IlMualim. The Leaping Eagle (talk) 21:44, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
You don't need to put them in brackets with "English" next to it. You can simply put the other version in some commas and bold it.
When it comes to Bartolomeo's quarters, there's little point translating it since the article says that it's his quarters right after the Italian name. Slate Vesper (talk) 22:30, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
That's a good point, actually. But I'm sure there's some fool who has no idea what it translates to, and don't we strive to give as much info as possible? The Leaping Eagle (talk) 22:38, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
It's not a great leap of the imagination to figure out what it's supposed to mean, and for more complex translations, their English version will be bolded afterwards. Slate Vesper (talk) 22:40, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
No, it doesn't take that much intelligence. :D You are a more accomlished editor than I am, so you may be right. If you think that it's unnecessary, fair enough. The Leaping Eagle (talk) 22:49, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
K, you have a point. You don't need to be a genius to figure out Quartier means quarters (or more technically headquarters). -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 02:53, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, sorry about that. You could always go back a page and copy out what you typed, and then paste it back in afterwards. Slate Vesper (talk) 00:52, August 6, 2012 (UTC)
I tried that, now I having problems copying and pasting things on the page. I can't copy things on Assassin's Creed Wiki now.
CreedOfAll (talk) 01:18, August 6, 2012 (UTC)
At the top of the editor, there should be two options, "Source" and "Visual". I would advise you to use Source, since it allows you to copy and paste things in easier (without needing to use Ctrl functions). Slate Vesper (talk) 01:34, August 6, 2012 (UTC)
