Image sourcing

Please note that you need to source any and all images you upload to the wiki in accordance to our image policy. For more information on how to source images, check this page. Also check the information about naming images appropriately. Badly named or unsourced images will be deleted. Feel free to reupload your deleted image with proper sourcing. Thank you. I'd like to remind you about proper image sourcing. Naming files like "Jing-cherng-wong-sin-acc-templarship-capcabin01" is verbose and incredibly unclear. The current standard is "[game abbreviation] [short description].[file type]", e.g. "ACRB Jean Delacroix render.png" or "AC2 Emilio Barbarigo portrait.jpg". – Darman (talk) 23:55, 20 November 2025 (UTC)

Additionally, I am uncertain about how many of your {public domain}-categorized uploads are suitable here, since the games do not show the national or pirate flags in the depicted 2D forms which verge on being fan art. Proto-Assassins and proto-Templars

Hey NoMoreVillains! Thanks for your contributions to the wiki. I want to notify you to not say that every single pre-AC1 Assassin is a Hidden One and not every pre-AC1 Templar is a member of the Order of the Ancients. Darius, Wei Yu and Iltani lived hundreds of years before the Hidden Ones were even founded, and were part of different groups that served as precursors to the Assassins. Similarly, we cannot assume that every single proto-Templar is a member of the Order of the Ancients, considering there were likely multiple groups that shared Templar ideals that would serve as precursors to the Templars, like the one in China that influenced Qin Shi Huang. Unless clearly specified, we use the terms "proto-Assassins" and "proto-Templars" for those that we are not certain belong to the Hidden Ones or Order of the Ancients. -- Master Sima Yi _Talk 23:54, November 23, 2017 (UTC)

Hey NoMoreVillains, the image you recently uploaded and added to the Isu article is a neat one, but I reverted it because it was unsourced. May I ask what is the source for it, or whether or not it was an original creation? Because if it's the latter, while it's fine artwork, we don't allow fanmade images on our articles. :-/ Only images that originate in official Ubisoft material may be used. Robes articles

Hello NoMoreVillains, I've noticed you creating new articles for robes of fthe latest main protagonists, but they seem to be written from a gameplay perspective. Edit-and-Revert Pattern

Hey, NoMoreVillains -- I wanted to reach out, because a couple of the other editors have mentioned some concern. We've noticed a few pages or images receive a few edits that are later reverted. Some examples are below:

• Abstergo Files
• File:Assassin's Creed Unity logo.png

I want to make sure you're aware of the Preview option in the editor, and I wanted to reach out in case there was context you could provide around why these are getting so many edits. If you're trying to figure out how to handle something, copying the page from the Source Editor to a sandbox in your userpage may be helpful. I don't think you're strictly speaking violating Wiki policies yet, but we do want to head off any concerns about badge or edit-count hunting.
