Original text: Minerva explains that she and her race were part of an advanced society that settled on Earth before a celestial event that destroyed most of the life on Earth. The remaining members of her species rebuilt the world as best they could and created humans in their own image. The two races lived side by side for a time before eventually coming to war. The humans seemingly won and those remaining of the advanced race sealed themselves in temples around the world, hoping to prevent the same disaster that had destroyed most of their kind from occurring once more. As Minerva finishes, she speaks to Desmond by name and informs him that she has done all she needs to and the rest remains up him and his allies.

New text: Minerva explains that she and her race were part of an advanced society that settled on Earth and created humans in their own image to serve as a work force to help them. They also made them susceptable to the effects of the Pieces of Eden so They could control them. However, a war broke out between the two kinds (presumeably started by "Adam" and "Eve"|"Adam" and "Eve"'s theft of at least one or more Apples). While Those Who Came Before were distracted, a presumed solar flare occured and "turned the world to ash", almost effectively wiping out both kinds at once. The remaining members of both kinds began working together to rebuild their world. As the remaining members of Those Who Came Before slowly died out, they sealed messages from themselves in temples around the world, hoping to prevent the same disaster that had destroyed most of their kind and humankind from occuring once more. As Minerva finishes, she speaks to Desmond by name and informs his that she has done all she needs to and the rest remains up to him and his allies to find the temples that will save the Earth from being destroyed once again.

In the right-most picture features Harry Dexter White and John Maynard Keynes. Using the infrared cursor and hovering over White's face, you get the message "Harry Dexter White. Remember this name.". IMF is the International Monetary Fund, which is tasked with overseeing the global financy systems of it's member countries, especially those that impact the exchange rate and balance of payments .
Below White is the text (only viewable with the infrared cursor), is the text "Le chiffre indéchiffrable.", which is French for "the indecipherable cipher", which is the Vigenère cipher. Using IMF as the key (which is required to use the ciper), you can decode the bunches of seemingly random gibberish in each of the images:

Stalin march picture: "Wzjwrypqrpquzaaqpjlfmmzjkqxamwgbwmexcdj"
Translation: "One of them he provided the necessary pressure"
If you hover the infrared cursor over the bottom-right sign of Stalin's face, you get this quote: "Owing to pressure from below, the pressure of the masses, the bourgeoisie may sometimes concede certain partial reforms while remaining on the basis of the existing social-economic system." This was taken from an interview done by H.G. Wells, and the person talking is Stalin himself.

American dollar bill picture: "Rqpgxqqeqizikxzjpzkwmczyuawmbfxqwuasmkfvpfkqsbdftnfvw"
"Jekyll island" and "more paper money and a central bank" Probably from the American dollar bill, up along the top border. Currently don't have the original text. Jekyll Island, Georgia, is the first Federal Reserve in the U.S..

"In 1886, a group of millionaires purchased Jekyll Island and converted it into a winter retreat and hunting ground, the USA's most exclusive club. By 1900, the club's roster represented 1/6th of the world's wealth. Names like Astor, Vanderbilt, Morgan, Pulitzer and Gould filled the club's register. Non- members, regardless of stature, were not allowed. Dignitaries like Winston Churchill and President McKinley were refused admission.

In 1908, the year after a national money panic purportedly created by J. P. Morgan, Congress established, in 1908, a National Monetary Authority. In 1910 another, more secretive, group was formed consisting of the chiefs of major corporations and banks in this country. The group left secretly by rail from Hoboken, New Jersey, and traveled anonymously to the hunting lodge on Jekyll Island."

"Debt ridden countries are the new frontier". Currently do not have the original text. Probably from the Russian march holding up the large sign in Cyrillic. Also in the Russian march picture, if you hover over the right side of the crowd, you get a quote: "How can I adopt a creed which, preferring the mud to the fish, exalts the boorish proletariat above the bourgeois and the intelligentsia who, with whatever faults, are the quality in life and surely carry the seeds of all human advancement?" This is from John Maynard Keynes book "A Short View of Russia", published in 1925, a verbal attack on Marx's Capital and Lenin's communist future.

In the picture with the large mountain in the background (Mount Washington), is the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. This was the site for the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference, where all 44 Allied Nations got together in 1944 during the World War II to create a monetary rules system which controlled for commercial and finances in these nations, called the Bretton Woods system. This ties in with the IMF, to quote Wikipedia:

"Setting up a system of rules, institutions, and procedures to regulate the international monetary system, the planners at Bretton Woods established the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), which today is part of the World Bank Group. These organizations became operational in 1945 after a sufficient number of countries had ratified the agreement.

The chief features of the Bretton Woods system were an obligation for each country to adopt a monetary policy that maintained the exchange rate of its currency within a fixed value—plus or minus one percent—in terms of gold and the ability of the IMF to bridge temporary imbalances of payments."

Using the infrared cursor, hovering over the flag right below the American dollar bill's bottom-right 1 reveals a Templar flag on the roof of the Hotel. Moving the cursor over to body of the Hotel reveals the message: "It would all be done in secret, the Assassins would never know until it was too late.".
