Tsuruga Sea Port

Tsuruga Sea Port was the western port of Tsuruga in Wakasa, Japan.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke infiltrated a military post within Tsuruga Sea Port to retrieve a bag stolen from a pirate's daughter Oni-yuri. However, upon recovering the bag, they discovered aconite flowers and figured out that Oni-yuri did poison the men who were harassing her earlier. With this, they left to confront her at her hut at the Scorched Hamlet.[1]
At some point, Naoe and Yasuke returned to the port after following a clue during their investigation set by Hosokawa Fujitaka about a silver-smuggling ring in his silver enterprise. There, they discovered that Nycollaao de Castel Branco was in the slavery business and provided slaves for his cohorts' teppō demonstrations. However, they learned that Nycollaao was on his ship about to depart. Boarding his ship, they confronted and assassinated Nycollaao, recovering an invitation from fellow conspirator Takeru and a teppō Nanban's Curse.[2]
