The Realities of War was a virtual representation of one of Edward Kenway's genetic memories, relived by a research analyst at Abstergo Entertainment through the Animus.

Edward took a second privateering contract at Conttoyor, asking him to work with several other privateers to sink a Spanish fleet.

Edward completed the contract and received his payment.
