The Temple of Hades was a temple dedicated to the Greek god of the Underworld, Hades, located within Elis City in Elis, Greece.
According to tradition, the temple was open only once a year, and could only be entered by a priest. This was due to the belief that people could go to the underworld only once.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding it occupied by military forces, as well as one of the Ainigmata Ostraka.[2]
