In-game

Altar of the Twelve Gods exists in-game, is a landmark in-game, and also exists IRL. An image of the twelve gods was given in another part of the franchise. What more do we need to justify the existence of this article?Sadelyrate (siniath) 11:31, January 15, 2019 (UTC)

Fair enough. I wasn't aware of the Altar's existence, so I concede the article deserves a place. That being said, pre-emptively removing the deletion tag before a discussion is at least started is not how things are done. If somebody places a deletion tag on the article then they put it there for a reason; it is at least owed to them to discuss the matter at hand. Late to this conversation, but just to clarify, there is currently some disagreement between the deletion tag being used to mark an article for a discussion about its deletion or to mark it for speedy deletion. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 14:07, April 16, 2019 (UTC)

Rename

So pending the conclusion of the merge discussion but it seems like we will be keeping this page. However there is talk of renaming this page mainly to Twelve Olympians. Conversely I propose we rename it to Greek Pantheon to allow the inclusion of Titans, primordials, lesser deities, and other beings. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 22:28, May 22, 2020 (UTC)

This article is named as it is, because Twelve Gods is the term used in-game, while ’Olympian’ is a term mainly used about people who participate in the Olympic Games. I’m not even sure if ’Twelve Olympians’ gets namedropped at all, in ACOd or the related Discovery Tour. Sadelyrate (siniath) 22:52, May 22, 2020 (UTC)

I actually think broadening the scope of this article to be about the whole pantheon while including the Twelve Olympians as a section is a good idea though I would like to hear more people's thoughts on this. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 03:32, May 23, 2020 (UTC)
